Getting Started with MintGarden
Profile Creation on MintGarden: Easy and Secure
Profiles on the Chia blockchain are on-chain entities, enhancing transparency and security. While having a profile is not mandatory for collecting and owning digital assets, it is essential for creating/minting Non-Fungible Tokens. Creating a profile on MintGarden is straightforward and can be done in two ways on your desktop computer:
A. User-friendly way via a browser wallet such as Goby
When on the MintGarden website find the green "Sign In" button in the top right corner.
Select Goby wallet by clicking "Connect" and proceed by approving the connection
Note: If you don't have a Goby Wallet yet, click on the "Install" button and follow the process. It is just as easy as installing other wallets such as Metamask and of course follows the same security processes you are used to from other blockchains. To create a new profile now go to your profile by clicking the top right button again which now should have changed to your temporary wallet profile, and select "My Wallet"
Go to "Profiles" and proceed with "Create a profile"
Note: This will submit an on-chain transaction and by that requites you to pay a small fee in XCH.After that you can customize your profile and mint NFTs.
B. Advanced way via Legacy Login
We want to point out that using a browser wallet to create your profile on MintGarden is the preferred way and we welcome the use of it. However, for clarity, we will also briefly explain the legacy method.
When on the MintGarden website find the green "Sign In" button in the top right corner.
Select "Legacy Login" in the popup.
Select "register a new account" and enter a email address and password and hit "Register".
Verify your email for MintGarden by entering the verification code you just received by email and click "Confirm".
Claim your profile by verifying by one of three ways:
WalletConnect
Chia Command Line
Pawket

Manage and Track Your NFT Collections with Ease
Managing your collected NFTs on MintGarden is both intuitive and secure. Here’s how MintGarden’s approach differs from other blockchains like Ethereum, making it more user-friendly and secure for collectors.
Managing Collected NFTs
Unlike other blockchains, airdropped or unwanted NFTs on MintGarden do not automatically appear in your wallet or profile by default. NFTs on Chia are clearly marked, allowing everyone to see if a user created, bought, or received a token without their knowledge. Such unassigned NFTs function as a security feature, ensuring they do not clutter your wallet or profile. To include these NFTs in your collection, you must actively assign them to your wallet via an on-chain transaction. This process enhances security and user control, making it more collector-friendly. And yes, you can bulk-assign NFTs to your profile for convenience.
Tracking and Rarity Ranking on MintGarden
MintGarden provides comprehensive tools for tracking and analyzing your NFT collections and/or NFT collections in general. The platform calculates rarity ranks based on the OpenRarity methodology. While currently in beta, projects can opt-in to enable rarity ranking for their collections. For more details on rarity ranking, refer to our documentation here.
On the MintGarden homepage , you’ll find up-to-date information about current NFT mints, top collections, and leading creators. These insights are not limited to the MintGarden platform but encompass the entire Chia blockchain, offering a broader perspective on the ecosystem. For detailed information on live blockchain activities, including mints, transfers, trades, and burns, visit the "Activity" section in the menu.
Note: NFT rarity rankings, fresh mints, and other information provided should not be taken as financial advice. Always DYOR (Do Your Own Research)!
